Windows (2008)

Defenestrator was a live broadcast of the vibrations in a large glass window on the 13th floor of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. The broadcast was sent via an internet stream to Neighborhood Public Radio at the Whitney Biennial. This project was an attempt to use a window as a tactile interface or conduit between two distant places rather than a barrier between adjacent ones.
